I've got a Savage action & aftermarket stainless barrel that I gave a flat black Krylon treatment to.
I'm likely going to remove the barrel to send it off to be cut 4-6" and assume my hard work with the rattlecan will be damaged by the work. When it comes back, I'll likely want to put a fresh coating on it. As such, could I buy one of those little blasters from Tractor Supply or Harbor Freight and use some sand (or other media) to blast the barreled action prior to recoating?
