Installing a Surgeon 591 SA into a Manners T4A stock and considering Surgeon, Badger or Newman bottom metal. Haven't looked at any of these for three years, so not up to speed on the pros and cons of current models or on the practical value of modifications the manufacturers may have made in that time. Appreciating this may be something of a religious argument, would still be interested in any functional reasons to prefer one or the other. Application is tactical matches, where speed and efficiency in swapping magazines is sometimes called for, and ambidextrous mag release occasionally useful, otherwise no unusual requirements.
