Put a UBR 2 on it. Will get a MIAD and an SD-E trigger. For now I’ll use a Schmidt 5-20. Goon to try a TBAC can my buddy has to see if the blowback is too bad.

But what bipod should I use? And what ammunition? What’s the best way to attach the bipod?

I detest Harris and I can’t find a way to make a TRG bipod fit so I guess Atlas is it. Do I want the BT47?

Is using lighter bullets in gas guns still a thing?

Purpose... I don’t currently have a Precision rifle that isn’t on consignment somewhere and aside from my brother having an AI I can borrow this will be it. Classes, some hunting and I will shoot some matches with it. Don’t care if I’m competitive at this point.

I posted review of MSR10 Hunter in 6.5 a week or so ago. Review here

On the factory barrel, it shot FGMM 130 Hybrid and 140 ELD pretty well (.6-.9) and I'm currently running test loads with 123 ELDM and Varget. Also shot Lapua Scenars well (if your able to handload).

My barrel was firelapped to get improvement in precision/accuracy but it started shooting better on it's own after about 100-150rounds. Should you decide to rebarrel, it will accept DPMS gen 1 style barrels. Happy shooting and please post back your results in either case!

I have one of the MSR 10 long range in 6.5. I have a razor gen 2 3 x 18 in a spuhr to top it off.

I am just getting the first few dozen rounds through it, but it definitely has a preference for the 120 ELD v. the 140 gr. I have some Federal GM Bergers to try next.

The only real change I am going to make to it now is the terrible grip. I am going to see how the trigger breaks in and that will likely be the next substantial change.

Agree on both points! I found the factory barrel didn't like 140grain ELDM as much as 120/123/130 grain bullets.

And the grip is definitely okay shape but feels odd and has cheap feel.

My factory barrel improved quite a bit over the first 150 rounds or so. Keep us posted!
