Boyds Tactical in a 40x?

I already have one like it, thanks tho. I actually have a stiller Lonestar that i have registered as a pistol action and am thinking of using a boyds stock with the butt cut off behind the grip and use it as a xp100 type pistol. Just was wondering if people thought the boyds was alright or not so much.
