Ive seen some where a brass marking jig that does 100 cases at once. If I remember right it was set up to go over the top of a mtm case and flip it over then had a plate that went over the case heads with a slot to mark over all of them. Pretty sure it was 3d printed and was white. I think they wanted $50 for them but just cant remember where I saw it. Any one got any ideas?

I have this one and like it for pistol rounds. Not 3D printed and a few bucks more but a really nice system. Drops them right into the MTM boxes.

I just checked mine; 10mm is the largest one I have and it kind of sort of fits an MTM case...could shift it and make it work, I guess. There has to be a more elegant solution that this. ;)

So its was an exact copy of this but for rifle cases. At the time I saw it I was like I already have a single jig for marking brass I really dont need that. Then I actually marked my cases the other day and realized I wish I had the quick way.

If it’s already in the case just run a sharpie across them. No need to waste $50. If you need a straight edge to be buy a 50 cent ruler.

I liked the idea but tend to agree. I purchased one of those markers that make “perfect” circles around brass. They don’t make perfect circles, they are not that easy to use, only take the small markers and wear the heck out of those makers.

So, I use a large marker, put the point on the inside of the rim, roll the case and get just as good a circle, large markers last forever, and it’s easier to use. Save the money and buy a ruler.

This is the way. Notice there's no marker on that template I posted. ;)

I have a little insert, so the case heads sit up a little proud from the case gauge and used to just drag a marker across the top; when getting fancy for a match, I would rotate it 90 degrees and draw another half-assed line. Good to go.

Someone used to sell this roller thingie which at least kept the brass logrolling in one place while the Sharpie did its thing...

Price was likewise ridiculous for the little task that it did.
