Brass on boltface

A couple days ago I took my Remington 700 SPS tactical out to the range and put exactly 60 rounds through it. 20 of these were Armscorp .308, and the other 40 were Federal xm80c 149 gr. I was going to clean off the boltface today, and realized there was a lot of brass coloring on the boltface. Unfortunately I cleaned a lot of it off before thinking it could be a problem and taking a picture. There was also a green circle on the innermost part of the boltface. Is this normal? If not could it be a headspace issue? Thanks, Evan
