So I have been collecting 6.5 CM and 6.5 grendel brass for some time thinking of investing on reloading equipment in the near future. Well as faith will have it we are expecting a baby soon and my time has decreased significantly so am sitting on about 600 once fired never touched, not cleaned or de-primed hornady 6.5 brass and about the same of grendel, same condition and brand. The question is what would be a reasonable price for these if I decided to sell?

Gunbroker has a lot of brass for sale. The price varies. Being all one head stamp should help you. When I buy, I try to stay around 25 cents, but have to do some hunting to find it at that price.

So brand new Hornady 6.5CM can be had through Natchez Shooting for $20 / 50; depending on timing of their sales you might catch free shipping with $100 order otherwise they will rake you over the coals. If I buy once fired, if it hasn't been cleaned or de-primed or anything, I typically look for between 40%-50% off new, otherwise it just makes more sense to buy it new. Rough math would put it around $.25 - $.20 a round then assuming you hit free shipping which you would if you are wanting to move it all at once. I'd say try listing it for the higher amount if it moves great, if not it should move pretty quickly at $.20. Also keep in mind your shipping costs and based on that I would want to move it all at once.

Makes sense, thanks
