Brass Trimmings in Case

I have noticed my trimmer is leaving fragments of brass trimming in the case. How vital is this to get it all out before seating?

depends how much. if its from chamfer, and its like small/dust almost, then almost nothing and it doesnt matter

This is from my trimmer so they are the size of the brass that comes off of your trimmer not a bunch of it but enough to notice

Since I don't really want to find out through experience, I make sure nothing is inside the case but the powder. This is why I have my 3 way trimmer in a vertical position where the brass is being trimmed facing down so trimming can't go inside.

Yeah I'd hate to leave some of those long curls you get sometimes in there. Good idea to trim and make gravity do the work

I give mine a good tap on the table upside down. Does the job.

The thing that really worries me is those little ceramic balls when you use dry lube. I stopped using that stuff. Don’t want one of those pieces of ceramic punching through my suppressor.
