Breaking in my VTR

I'm new to the tactical scene. I've been a hunter all my life. Needed more of a challenge. I just purchased a Remington VTR as a base gun. Time will tell what it turns into. <span style="text-decoration: underline">No lead through the barrel yet</span>, and I was wondering how i should break it in. I know that there are plenty of 1/4 MOA shooters here, and I need your info. 1 shot and clean x 5..... then 5 shots and clean x 20?

Help the newcomer out here.

I believe in shoot 1 clean 1 until there is little to no copper. This could happen in 5 rounds or 25 rounds.

just shoot the damn thing, uhh breaking in a barrel properly is SOO overrated. unless its a HIGH HIGH HIGH dollar barrel, just shoot the damn thing and enjoy

went and shot today! went through 100 rounds of 150gr fmj by federal. it was a lot of fun. a lot more shootin than i'm used to. i can officially say that my barrel is "broken in" for those who believe in it haha. time to seriously zero now. can't wait. the vtr shoots better than i expected too. it was enjoyable. thanks for postin and helpin me out!!
