Broken Remington bolt handles is a key reason why I went with Savage actions.

To be fair, it takes some trying to break a Remington bolt handle. But when the bad things happen, the Remington bolt handles fail with some regularity.

When they happen with a Savage, the bolt handles A) tend to hold up a lot more ruggedly, and B) are rather easily replaced by the user. One machine screw. Period.
