Broken extractor on my GA Crusader

Was just shooting a little bit and noticed something was definitely wrong. It was throwing shots about an inch to the right. Got to looking and my extractor had a big chip taken out with a burr on the lip. Was just wondering if this is a big deal. I'm going to call Ken at GA tommorrow to see if I need to send the bolt back or maybe get them to ship me a new extractor. I just don't wanna F*** it up. But at the same time don't want to wait 1 month for my bolt to get back to me. What are you guys thoughts??
By the way the bolt was being oiled when I noticed the broken extractor. Just didn't want you guys to think wtf...

I just called Defiance when I need small parts like ejectors/springs and the like. They're great people to deal with and they ship the same day usually

I have a feeling that if you send it back to GAP that they'll take care of you pronto. My guess is that your rifle will be down for two weeks tops.

I talked to kin and he said shoot it and see if is throwing them still. Well now they are back to shooting 1/4 moa but I'm getting ejector marks. I wonder if the burr on the lip has got my head space messed up. Because the shoulders are getting some marks all the way around. This is with factory ammo too... I'm a little confused...

Wouldn't happen to be Hornady ammo, would it? A burr on the extractor shouldn't mess with headspace.

Yeah... It's factory hornady. Ismh that I left it outside in my range bag (out of the sun) underneath my lodge. And it's about 92 degrees. So maybe that had something to do with it. My buddy posted a few weeks ago about how his surgeon was blowing primers so maybe he was on to something. In my general experience , h4350 is not as "temp stable" as Hodgdon would care to admit. I went from shooting 2800 fps on a 60 degree day to 2740 fps on a 32 degree morning. That's a tad over 2 fps per degree. Not so extreme if you ask me.

From what I understand, Hornady isn't actually using H4350 in their factory loads. They're using a proprietary powder not available for purchase. They list H4350 as a fairly similar alternative in case you're too lazy to work up a load on your own. It seems Hornady has been having a lot of overpressure issues lately, even with their non-Superformance stuff. I guess they just tend to load their ammo hotter than most manufactures.
