Gunsmithing Browning A Bolt safety question

I’d think you could simply remove the piece of the trigger group that pivots to lock the bolt as the safety is engaged....... shouldn’t affect how the trigger functions, just how it locks the bolt. I don’t have a picture but do have a few brownings and have done work on many of them.....I prefer the locking bolt but to each their own.

 
Remove this bar and you should be good, have no idea about "how safe" but should not have any effect on the actual safety.
