Gunsmithing Browning A Bolt safety question

is there anyway to modify a browning abolt safety where the bolt can be opened with the safety on without creating a dangerous situation?

I’d think you could simply remove the piece of the trigger group that pivots to lock the bolt as the safety is engaged....... shouldn’t affect how the trigger functions, just how it locks the bolt. I don’t have a picture but do have a few brownings and have done work on many of them.....I prefer the locking bolt but to each their own.

It is my 10 year old son’s gun. I don’t like the fact he has to put the gun on fire to unload it.

Remove this bar and you should be good, have no idea about "how safe" but should not have any effect on the actual safety.
