I’m finally going to go beyond a Harris and am looking at the next step (for me) Atlas. I’m looking at the BT-65 with the ability to clamp onto a pic rail. At this point there are no arca rails in my possession, so this seems logical, but it seems all I read is arca this, arca that.
Right now I’m mainly shooting paper and squirrel, but have a Guardian and some local matches on tap. The next step will be a tripod. I have way too much gear that’s only been used once or not at all. I don’t mind spending, but would like to make a wise decision on gear that’s got some cross compatibility.
Any advice is appreciated.

Check out the TBAC, too. Have the PSR in a RRS dovetail as well. Run them both on pic rails and they are both rock solid. Looks like the 65 is most like the TBAC. Prefer the single handed leg extension of the TBAC but wish it had the 45 degree detent.
Stability on both is very comparable. Much better than Harris. Don’t think you can go wrong.
