Gunsmithing Building up a 6.5 grendel AR need some pointers...

my first build so forgive the novice questions

who makes a good barrel ready to install? (chambered, profiled, muzzle threaded etc) Looking for a heavier profile.

Who makes a good carrier and bolt head? (here's the thing the carrier has to be setup with a side charging handle...is that something I could have installed if there aren't any good carriers wich side charging handles out there)

I would recommend going to the 6.5 Grendel forum and doing some reading, although most of your questions probably have the same answer - Alexander Arms.

will have to research side-chargers yourself but there are
ambidextrous avail

Alexander Arms previously made a side-charge upper. Not sure if they still do though. I haven't looked on their website in a while. Look at Midway for Satern barrels. They come with the bolt.
