So recently a buddy of mine was trashing bulk ammo saying that it would at best group 4" at 200 yards. I am not a huge fan of factory loaded ammo and deff dont like bulk loads but I had time to kill so I figured I would prove him wrong. The ammo was the Federal 100 pack from Wally World for $40, I understand this ammo isnt as cheap as WOLF or Brown Bear but I still consider it "BULK". The ammo is 55gr 3240fps. The rifle is a Savage 10 w/Sightmark 8.5-25X50 (my prove em wrong budget gun). Since I usually shoot 68gr I sighted in at 50. Then I started grouping. As expected I did get the occasional flyer but at 100 I was at .6 and my best 5 shot group at 200 was 1.4. Obviously this isnt as good as my reloads but for bulk loads I was pretty impressed. This week I will be getting some WOLF, Brown Bear etc. and have another review. If anyone else has any reports good or bad on "BULK" loads please post.

Re: Bulk Ammo Accuracy

Bulk, ammo, and accuracy don't work well when you put the 3 words close together, id say theirs about 2% to 5% of a difference between lots if you shoot the same lot, then it would be "ok" in my opinion but from lot to lot "crap-shoot"

Respectfully and good luck
