Still socked due to snow and was going though old files and found another DIY some may find helpful. Overall I like the Bullseye camera. Works as advertised, the expansion antenna does reach over a mile line of sight with decent picture quality. The app is actually well done and easy to use. That said, I've had the unit for 3-4 years but I wouldn't buy it again. First, customer support is useless. Second, the unit comes with a ridiculous ground stand that is more useless than the support staff. Third, the Bullseye camera hates standard Champion orange on white rifle targets in the sun despite Bullseye using them prominently in their advertising. The camera and software have no exposure compensation. Both of my ranges face north and for half the year when the sun is low south the unit was useless due to the image being washed out or I needed to change the targets that I've used for 10+ years. So I came up with this to fix all that. (See pic) 1/2 ply with rear lip. Drilled with insert to attach to standard small tripod. Front groove cut to press in tinted plexi for exposure control (I use 2x different tints). Flex sealed the whole thing to protect from weather. **Yeah I could have bought black targets but the shots don't show up as well and I'm kinda OCD at times.
