The thing with rings in my opinion is they are two separate pieces.
With a cantileve mount the optic is house in one mount. Simply easier to operate.
If it were me I would use the Bobro mount, zero it and call it a day.
With rings you have to measure the proper height necessary to be suitable for you.
Cantilever do all of the math for you.
Depending on how far you are planing to operate, you may want to consider JonA's mount with 20 MOA built in. This will allow you to maximum adjustment out of your optics, but you couldn't use it with the Nikon, 1" tube.
It is only available in 30 mm I believe.
