Rifle Scopes burris laserscope

Re: burris laserscope

Tourist trap.

Learn to use a Mil dot reticle and how to range targets. Then you won't feel a need to pay for batteries, lasers and LED's in your scope.

Depends on what your trained on. If you know MILs, use MILs, if you know MOA, use MOA. I learned on MOA (IPHY, actually), so I stick with them.

If you don't know either, I would tend to say that MILs are the way to go. For the sake of ease of use, I would also say you should get matching turrets. If you have a MIL reticle, get MIL turrets, MOA reticle, MOA turrets.

They work exactly the same, just use different numbers. But, as a starter, a MIL reticle and MOA turrets is more math (if you are dialing elevation and windage).

I guess it depends on if you are using hold overs or dialing elevation and windage.

Confused? Hope not, but probably. First off, buy a Mildot Master from one of the sponsors and learn how ranging with mils works. Then you will be better equipped to make an informed decision.
