i was considering the vortex 1-4, but the reticle seems very small.

someone mentioned the burris mtac to me on another thread.

what do you guys think of this?

The tac-30 is a good scope and a very popular seller for us.

I prefer the illumination control on the MTAC personally. But that's just a personal thing. We've still got a few of the TAC-30 packages in stock.

I sold my Vortex after playing with the MTAC. I was pinging the popper at 400 using the 400 index mark and the Fiocchi 62gr out of a 16" DD barrel.

The other selling point was the daylight visible illumination.

I run a TAC30 on my LaRue that I use in 3 gun. Works great. I have no complaints and its surely a bargain for the price.
