Both are great scopes. Both have dead on adjustments, both are extremely dependable. The SS has two major advantages. 1) SS has 116min of total elevation travel which if you're shooting at longer ranges is required. 2) because of the larger tube it has a much larger field of view at shorter ranges so you can pick up more surroundings which is great for hunting or picking up things like windage flags, or wind effects on grass and trees.

You can't go wrong with either but if you can afford it go for the SS.

Good luck,
Merritt

Both are great scopes for the money, but the additional travel of the SWFA (30mm tube vs 1") and the parallax focus make it more popular amongst the long range shooters.

Edit: mwroseberry beat me to it.

The SS 10xHD is by far the better scope. I would have gotten one if I had not scored such a deal on my bushnell. Even the SS 10x without the better glass has an advantage. But I'm a big cost/benefit person and got my bushnell 3200 10x for $180 shipped on sale. The scope is more than sufficient for my eye sight and the ranges that my skill level allows me to be affective at. If you're going to pay full retail go SS
