Rifle Scopes Bushnell Elite 4200 turret reset

Re: Bushnell Elite 4200 turret reset

Once you loosen and unscrew the silver knob the turret pulls up and off. Turn it to align the "0" and then push the turret back down and screw the silver knob back in.

First what scope do you have? Does it even have re-settable zero turrets? Not all 4200 scopes have re-settable zero turrets, only the tactical models. Which makes me wonder, if you have a "small, knurled" knob on top, it doesn't sound like a tactical scope. Sounds like one of the 6-24 hunter models with semi-target turrets.

I'm bumping an old topic, because searching brought me here. All you can do, is set the knob back to zero correct? There is no way to make the knob cover the "10 MOA" Mark's under it ? I hope what I'm asking even makes sense lol

Those marks indicate how many revolutions you've dialed, so no, there's no way to make the turret fully cover them. I just used a marker or paint pen to put a mark in the vertical line to show where my zero was when I ran one.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking, but still wasn't 100% sure. It is sitting on the 3rd line now. This scope only has 44 moa of total adjustment. So I'm not real sure how far I can dial up now.
