I vote Elite 4200. For the price it is a better value (ie better glass, better features for the price). I paid $500 for a brand new Elite 4200 6-24x50 tactical. This is the one with the 30mm tube, side parallax, exposed tactical turrets, and mil-dot reticule, not to mention better glass. Try getting these features on a VX-II in the same price range. Also some of features like a 30mm tube, side parallax adjustment is not available on the VX-II.
