Rifle Scopes Bushnell Elite Tactical HDMR...or other

First post here. I've been hiding out on AR15.com for the last 8 years and a friend suggested I start hanging out with this group for info/esprit de corp.

I've tried purchasing a Viper PST 6-24x50 and Leupold Mk 4 scopes for a project and everything is on back order. I've seen the 3-12 Tactical reviews here...missed out on the SWFA 6-20x50 buy...so I'm looking for other alternatives in the $1.5K range (new/used).

- Must be at least 20x
- Must be FFP
- Illumination a + ...but not necessary
- Reticle...not to concerned as long as I can range with it.

Midway has both the Vortex PST 6-24 and the Bushnell 6-24 in stock. The wait for the GB HDMR is December now for the first batch. So if you were looking for something quick it might not be for you.

The HDMR rocks. I prefer the H59 reticle though...

last I checked the group buy for the HDMR G2 is almost done. I think last update had 14 or so left.
