Do any of the Bushnell range finders have the ability to range coyotes out to around 600-700 yards? I need a range finder that will range coyotes at long distances. Any ideas about the bushnells? The reason i am asking about Bushnell and not the other leading makers, is that i have a 100$ coupon for a Bushnell product. thanks Lee

Depending on lighting I am betting the 1500 would. The problem is, the 1500 is discontinued.
The Legend 1200 is their current top of the line, but I can't get it to range cardboard targets at 300 reliably. It can range buildings out to a pretty good piece, but point targets are a bit more difficult.

The Elite 1500 can, and mine does. You can still find them on ebay and other places even though its no longer in production. Boy am I glad I never sold mine.

Only god knows, but Im hanging onto mine! Glad I spent the $300 on it when I did.

The word I got from Bushnell PR was that the 1500 was issued an NSN and will be a Mil only item. The civilian replacement is the Legend 1200 which is going to hurt them.
You may want to hang on a minute. I have a Leica 1200 SCAN coming in. They are in the same price range as the Elite 1500, but I am betting it's going to outperform it.
The Leica 1200 SCAN is discontinued but used models are available. I am not too worried about a used model because 90% of the time the private citizen is going to baby it and use it in fair weather.

a few years back I lased a stoplight in town with my Bushnell 1000 and got a read of 1487yds. I didn't think it was working right so I tried a couple of more times and it was consistent

My B 1500 pinseeker wouldn't reliably range any non reflective target past 500 yards.

My Bushnell 1500- #205104 (with ARC) is awesome! It ranges yotes to 800+ and bigger stuff (reflective) to 1400+ all day long. Very easy to use and it works great.
I really like this model with the ARC. Good for long range shooters or bowhunters.
Found mine on Amazon. Good shooting.

Several years ago I spotted a Bushnell Yardage Pro 1000 at a gun show, got it for $150. At the time I was assigned to a Destroyer out of Mayport, I used this unit to range contacts and during Sea and Anchor details. It never failed me, and I know I ranged smaller targets out to 700 yards.
