i am looking for some input,opinions,discussion on scopes in the bushnell lineup. their 6.5 ratio scopes and esp the 3-12x40 illum elite VS the various vortex permutations illum/not,moa/mil,FFP/2nd some rather affordable and weaver tacticals. got one of the sale 3-10s and it imppresses. 3-15 and 4-20? and some of the cheaper super slams? i know these issues have been done to death, but trying to put the many options and prices and apparent quality issues in perspective is becoming pretty much going in a circle. thanks for any input.

You got it, there are plenty of threads discussing the pros and cons of all these scopes, just read up on them, and make a choice. Really you shouldn't be too bad off with any of them.

First you have to decide what your needs are. What is your main purpose? Hunting? shooting paper? LE/MIL? Competition? Do you need illumination? do you need FFP? Will you be in any low-light conditions? Are you gonna be doing any ranging? What is your budget? Ultimately you buy a product to suit <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">YOUR</span></span> needs, not anyone elses.

To answer your question, I'd at least go after a scope with matching turrets. I would go with the Weaver Tactical 3-15 from your list, it's been getting awesome reviews.
