I need a butt pad for a HS Precision 700P SA stock

I bought a used stock that had a Limbsaver slip on pad and guess what. The factory pad was missing

Where can I get one or what would be the closet fit with no work needed to it, and please incude the part number if you can

THANKS for your help

Pretty sure "no work" is not going to work. It's been a while but if I remember correctly, even H&S said you had to sand one down (ie, you can't order one). They wanted me to send the stock in. You'll need a bench sander and be very careful about where the long end of the stock is at all time. More talented folks may do it by hand but that ain't me. I put Pachmeyrs on three different stocks and it isn't brain surgery but screwing up will show.

I was skeered at first and started off with a local smith who said "yeah, no problem." Turned out that translated to "I have no idea what I'm doing but I saw it on YouTube." Point is, if you farm it out, make sure they know what they're doing.

I bought a grind to fit, marked it out, and used a belt sander. Used a finer grit to smooth it out, and attached it. Not the finest like a high end shop, but this is a rifle to use, carry around, and I expect it to get beat up. With the krylon on the stock and some scratches on it, the recoil pad just matches in. On a fine rifle this wouldn't work, but for me on this one, works great.

PS, where are you in Iowa? I was raised in the SW corner in Page County.
