Can we leave the bakers alone now?

Sounds like a on line college. Lol. “Not that there’s anything wrong with that” -Jerry.

Oberlin is a serious liberal arts college. Some Hollywood types probably pay bribes to get their kids wearing one of their shitty sweat shirts.

Endowment over a billion.

Crying poor mouth saying they cant afford the damages.

Should of thought that before you decided to protest the election by manufacturing fake racist incidents.

How's the store owner doing after a thing like that?

Is what's left of that 33 mil enough for them to keep on keeping on?

Their business was in the family for 5 generations and they had to lay off their workers save family members due to loss of sales.

Havent heard if they made it but $44 million is a lot of dough........:)

The jury awarded more than state law allows so it will be interesting to see if they get all the money.

nope they are really trying to screw with this guy . and its all being done to shut him down . hope the judge throws this out of court . save the man some money .

Would be nice if they could re-hire the folks they let go with backpay, and then also open a new store somewhere less communist.

Some parasitical judge will probably cut it down to like 500,000.

And here in CO, Jack at Masterpiece Cake Shop is at it again.

After his SCOTUS victory against the CO civil rights commission last year, some Trans person asked him to bake a gender transition cake which he refused.

At this point, you know they are just doing it, hoping he will stick to his values and they can get their 15 minutes of fame. Im almost 100% certain that's what started the first one anyways. Jack told someone he wouldn't bake decorate a cake for a gay wedding. Folks tell someone the story. Someone else hears and decides to see if he will do it again. when he does, they follow their plan and complain.

Heaven forbid someone has a belief that doesn't agree with you or make you feel special. This isn't even an opinion, but a man's religious belief, once held in the United States with great respect for a man to have great conviction.

ugh.

Range time at 1900 with a buddy. Will help me relax.......

I read through the article but missed the part that tied the school to it. I know it listed the Dean and students of the college, but what exactly did the Dean and school do officially that has them responsible? I'm sure it might have been addressed in a previous article when it all first happened but does anyone know?

Liberal school or not, if the school or Dean didn't directly do anything other than happen to have students that protested/were responsible for the altercation, then the school shouldn't be held accountable. However if their school made any official statements regarding the store, then yea, fuck em.

Anyone have any articles that explain what the school did/how they are directly involved?

Wait a minute everyone!! We all know that bakers are an evil cabal that are orchestrating the downfall of our society!!

Fuck all of these liberal colleges, fuck their agenda, fuck their snowflake students that will most likely never have real jobs and I hope the judge fucks Oberlin slow and hard.

The school publicly openly sided and backed the racism charge, by cancelling of contractual agreement of baked goods purchased .
.

I can't state strongly enough how much I hope this trend continues. Line'm up and knock'm down. Just like that! Simple. I honestly hope they earn interest on their award while the system dicks around trying to figure out exactly how much they're actually gonna give'm. Just the news in itself makes my damn day !!! ;)

The school dropped their contract to supply products without cause damaging their business.

School tried to defend themselves on "it was a students exercising their first amendment issue" but even after kids had admitted to shop lifting and signed statements acknowledging no racism on the part of the bakery the school continued to sanction them.

The school saw a SJW event that fit their agenda and supported it despite its false pretenses.

I know I usually play devils advocate on some of the topics on here, but I'll say this.

1). Fuck Ohio. Spent enough time around OSU to know that FUCK THAT PLACE. (No I didn't spend money there on schooling, only at the bars visiting peeps I was in with...And no, they weren't born again hippies). They tried to distract me with their 25+ bars at one intersection but I saw through their temptation.

2). Fuck Ohio

3). If the Dean and the "University" made a direct statement against the establishment/in support of the protests, then fuck them and they get what they deserve.

Side Question:
-Why can't deans/officials/owners/boardmembers just put their dicks on the table and say what matters... "These are kids and they want to exercise their rights. Our business/establishment/school does not support or condone any messages or agendas conveyed by its students/patrons and cannot be held liable or responsible for any messages within."

Fucking weak fucking people driven by greed.

I think acudaowner thought this was about the man here in CO of Masterpiece Cake shop.

They keep trying. Jack might be a good guy for GGWG to chip in a buck or two.

So you ladies know, range night was fun!
My bear cannon driving a 200 gr solid at 1450 fps is 2” low at 10 yds in a nice 2” group. Group is lower further out.
Milling of front sight to happen shortly.....

They also excused students from class to allow them to go protest at the bakery.

2" at 10yds? Dude, you might want to edit that out. You can get kicked off the Hide for admitting to such horrendous shooting. I'm sure you meant 100yds ?

In this case not driven by greed but by a desire to push their political power agenda in the most harmful way.......

Using a manufactured "racial incident".

This is the most evil, insidious of tactics. Its been used a couple times up here in MA/elsewhere and it rends an old scar that was moving toward fading.

The perpetrators of these false incidents should be despised as much as any klan robe wearing asshole. Even more so as the Klan person acts like an asshole out of ignorance while the "fake race victim" acts out of malice aforethought.

The school supported the false narrative by excusing the students to protest. Im sure the dean that was mentioned showed up at these things wearing a "pussy hat".

Would the school "so concerned" about expressing ideas have allowed Ben Shapiro to be invited to the school to speak to conservatives?

This shit is getting very dangerous.

We either are or are not a capitalist country based on the liberty of the individual rather than emphasizing the commune at the expense of the individuals pursuit of happiness and right to their property.

The entire Bill of Rights is incompatible with the politics of Bernie Sanders ilk unless............you be Bernie Sanders.

Heard Michelle Malkin is a graduate of Oberlin up until it was infiltrated it used to be a conservative school.

The first time I heard of Michelle Malkin I believe she was speaking about one of her books at Berkeley I stumbled upon it on PBS which I never watch they were trying to shut her down HARD and she handled it awesome. One fired up chick we need more like her. Also Ohio state is funded by the taxpayer and they recently have a lot of problems that have came to light about several "doctors" that were doing shit with the students for a long time ones dead to bad but ultimately going to cost taxpayers millions. I have had friends and people that worked for and with me that went to OSU all are good people I'm sure it's no different with almost any other university. I ment attempted brainwashing institutions. A lot of good people survive that shit.

Whats weird about OSU is that as far as I know its one of the few places that give scolarships in the shooting sports.

I guess they have a great shooting program.

Seems contradictory.

The school had a contract with the bakery to provide goods. Due to the activism, the school cancelled the contract. That's the connection.
