It's on my EDM Windrunner as a temporary optic until I can get another Nightforce, USO, etc for my primary rifle.

I was under the impression that EDM has a 30moa rail. I measured it and got a .145" drop in 11". I probably fudged the math but I got 47.45 moa with those numbers. Can somebody double check me?

I'm running Burris rings and I switched them front to back to see if it did anything and it's the same either way. As best I can tell there are no hangups with any of the adjustments on the scope.

What is the adjustment range on the Super Sniper 16x? I thought it was >100moa. Any ideas?

Should be about 120 M.O.A. Did you start at the mechanical center of the scope? BIG piece of cardboard is your friend. Not trying to be a smart-ass, just some hints.

Well I feel a little dumb right now. I loosened off the set screws on the elevation turret and noticed that there isn't a groove for the screws to seat into like a nightforce or any other scope I've seen.

The turret itself was limiting my elevation, after removing it I had about another 1 1/2 turns which should be enough. I'll have to screw the barrel back on and go out and check it this afternoon.

Still though can anybody verify the moa of cant on my base? I found a page that listed .010" drop over 36" = 1moa so I adapted that to my 11" rail length. It's been awhile since I've had to do any algebra so I'm not completely sure I got it right.

This would just be a tangent function. 30 minutes is .5 degrees so TAN(.5)=(x/11)=.096. So if the actual height difference is .145" than your scope has approx 75.5 moa of height adjustment

Whoops, Kombar pointed out my mistake. Forgot to multiply by 60 so .755*60=45.313 moa

If it makes you feel less stupid, I'll share my last range story. I excitedly took my new SS 10X to sight in at 100 yds, on a Larue LT-111 mount. I became very frustrated trying to get on paper, and seeing splash marks on the Shoot and C targets. By the time I had to leave on that short day (due to other commitments), I realized that I was using my Larue OBR mount. But I was shooting my M6A3 that day, which doesn't have a 20 MOA rail. I was shooting at dirt in front of the target! Duh...
