My search-fu is weak. I recall a thread a few months back about a buffer and spring assembly that was quiet as compared to that metal vibrating clangy sound from regular buffers and springs. It focused mainly around a 300BLK upper and running it suppressed. Can anyone help me out?
And as long as we're on the subject... is it really necessary to change this out when running a 300BLK suppressed??? I plan on having 2 different uppers to swap out on the lower. A .223 wylde 8 twist upper with adjustable gas block, and a 300BLK 7 twist upper with adjustable gas block which will be run sub and super sonic. I don't want to hear that annoying claaannnnnggggg.... when suppressed.
Forgive my ignorance as I am a bolt guy who is taking on his first AR project.
And if you see me heading full speed into a ditch, please let me know.
Thanks in advance Hiders.
Bill
