Rifle Scopes Cant level

If you're shooting at extended distances and/or from an uneven position, it can be very useful. I have and use the Flatline Ops and although it's pricey, it's built to last.

What Killshot said. If I shot on level ground most of the time, I wouldn't bother. But most of the time, the ground I'm on is canted 5-10 degrees, the target is canted 5-10 degrees, and the visible horizon is canted 5-10 degrees. All in different directions. What appears/feels level can be off by quite a bit. A bubble level makes sure my scope is level with gravity. The further out you go, the more cant will affect the POI.

There are all types out there. Flatline, horus, wheeler, badger, etc. You get what you pay for. I just bought a Horus ASLI and they jury is still out. It has cant and an ACI, but the way it mounts is garbage. Dont bother with the included mounting rings. They bought some cheap crap that will bottom out before getting a tight grip on the device. Luckily i had some Leupold Mk4 rings from another project that werent getting used. Need yo get lower heights though. Sticks out about a half inch more than i need
