CCI 41 primers for .223 in a bolt gun

Would there be any purpose in using the 41s in a bolt gun with heavy (75g in 1:9 twist) bullet loads instead of BR4s or 205Ms?

I know they are mil spec but what exactly does that mean and what loads do people generally use them for?

The only reason I could see using them would be availability, as in they were the only primers you could find. They are designed primarily for AR style rifles, but have worked pretty well in my Savage 10FP when playing around with loads. Personally, unless you had nothing else to use, I would save them for the AR.

They will work. These #41 primers are hotter than your standard small rifle primers, so approach book max cautiously.
