CCI BR2 in AR

I understand the BR2 primers have a thinner cup material. Would I risk slam firings with a AR 308 rifle if I used BR2s ?

I use them all the time in AR's. No issues. Slam-fires are not caused by primers. If you are getting slam-fires you have other issues.

BR2's in the Armalite(s), and the BR4's in the 15. NEVER have had an issue.

I have used Winchester primers in both big and small gas guns with zero issues, I thought CCI's were a tad thicker, you'll be GTG!
