I decided to inlet the stock for the CDI bottom metal myself; this is on a pre-accutrigger 110 300WM.
Did the inletting, the bottom metal fit perfect; no trouble getting the action screws in.
The AI mag CDI uses is longer than the stock savage mag well; as a result, the forward end of the mag follower hits the underside of the feed ramp, thus the rnd doesn't feed right.
Unfortunately, modifying the feed ramp is not something I feel qualified to do; so off to my fav gunsmith.
