What is the most popular method of protecting the sight setup of pistols which people are having coated? That is my first question. A few layers of tape on the front side of some stock sights should protect during the blast process as far as I understand. However there may be better options, and if so please share.

Second question is how do people deal with night sights? I am currently helping a buddy out with some burnt bronze on his xdm, which has night sights. I don't want to screw anything up during my cure cycle, and I certainly want to have the best protection while i am blasting.

If you are willing to share, feel free to offer your plans of attack when you come across similar situations. It's through the experts that I learn. Thanks in advance for the help.
