Chargemaster Combo Issue

I was using my chargemaster combo tonight and ran into an issue where it has stopped trickling powder once it's on it's about 1gr out. It literally completely stops and does nothing. This was on factory settings.

Next issue, although not really an issue. I seem to found another mode on mine besides the throwing speed etc. It's when I pressed "edit memory" and "clear/stop" at the same time. It shows that it's in some sort of tune mode for 4350 and then goes to bullseye powder (saying the entire word). Anybody else get to here before? If not, want to try and see if it goes there?

Unplug it and remove the two sections, clean off the contacts if they look dirty and put them back together and see if the issue repeats itself.

As far as the powders being listed, I've never seen that, but I don't get fancy with my seven year old unit.

I'll have to try that tomorrow.

I've had mine stop like yours quite often and wasn't sure what was causing it. I'll have to try taking them apart and cleaning the contacts as suggested.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but a lot of us suffered through the great 'ChargeMaster keypad disaster' of '06 and frankly, people had to just call up RCBS and explain the situation.

It was truly horrible, wounded units all over the place.

Often times, RCBS had a new unit mailed out before the customer had even received the return mailing label.

If it repeats itself after cleaning, try plugging into a good power strip away from any cell phones, or flourscent lighting and fiddling with it again, before calling RCBS.

I'm into HiFi and it's always better to see what you can see before boxing this crap back up and mailing it off.
