Re: Charles Daly CS 1911-A1

i've heard many bad things about Charles Daly, but do not let that piss in your cheerios man, shoot it, and if it works...GREAT!! if not try to send it back or get rid of it. for the same money you can't go wrong with a RIA tactical or Para GI Expert...but CD does produce winners as well crap shoot i guess, problem is even $1400 1911's have problems and need tuning to run right, so don't expect ALOT from a $500-650 1911 and once again no one shoots a pistol and creates threads about how it "shot good", now when it messes up...different story, they sprint to the forums to bash and troll

Re: Charles Daly CS 1911-A1

The only problem I encountered with the Charles Daly was I had one the chamber was not quite deep enough and would not chamber a round 100%. A couple of turns with a reamer and it was good to go. If it runs smooth, I wouldn't worry.

I would consider a Charles Daly significantly superior to the RIA in fit and finish. YMMV
