I have the LSS-XL for the long action vangard. I went with a folder to make it so I can clean it without readjusting the cheekpiece each time. The rifle always shot well but the factory stock had a pressure pad to dampen the barrel. At first, the groups opened to 1.5moa so i bought the barrel dampener from limbsaver. Went back to sub half moa. The benefit is my zero does not wander around due to temperature like it did. This is still the factory barrel in 270
First is in the factory stock. I had .2 milsof right wind in the scope when checking drops . This is 100yds with a 200yd zero should be 1.75" high. Sencond is with the chassis a week later, and the 3rd was to explain why my students were hitting right side of the plate. We had a 0 wind day but this range shoots up hill so the flight path can be 60' above the range at 300yds or so. I told the class that a 1mph wind would put this bullet about 4.5" right and an inch down and took the shot with a bullseye hold. Didn't have another student ego moment after this shot for the class
