i have a bunch of wolf mt. im looking for a cheaper sub sonic ammo but wolf seams to be close if not the cheapest. anyone have another option to consider

The way the Wolf shoots out of so many rifles it is very hard to beat for the price.

depends on what you are using it for - groups size stick with the Wolf, hunting out to 50 yards Rem sub sonics seem to work well and is actually the same POI at 50 yards, but kind of crummy past 75 yards. most of the other stuff that is of match or standard vel that i have ran are louder than the Wolf Mt, along with a higher FPS
Winc. has their subsonic ammo, i have not yet tried it.

The ammo that comes closest to Wolf MT in my rifles is Federal Automatch, which unfortunately isn't subsonic. So I have no idea what to recommend, and even less of an idea as to why I'm posting this...

basically im tyring to see if there is any reason to stock 2 kinds of ammo. i use wolf in my cz and really dont see any reason yet to stock anything else for my smith 15-22

Win subs are cheaper than the Wolf, but are not as accurate, at least from my Savage. Are ok at 50 but go to crap at 100.

Wolf is great...Aguila is good (cheaper)..Remingtons tend to go supersonic quite often from my 20" 452...
