Really high. Does your cheek even rest on the stock?

Re: Cheap way to go

You planning on duct taping one of those couch cushions to the top of the stock so you can see through the scope?

Re: Cheap way to go

These guys post their rifle porn specifically so that all of you can appreciate their hard on. Somebody is going to be a little sad, for a while, this evening. BB

Re: Cheap way to go

Looks good man, that's how I started out, bone stock SPS-V and a SS10x, sure was fun in its simplicity. Have fun and go shoot that thing!

Re: Cheap way to go

lol they came with the scope I havnt exactly began doing anything to it other than buying a gun and a scope

Re: Cheap way to go

Looks like a good start to me, those rings will be nice for an AR later on, you will have one eventually regardless!

Re: Cheap way to go

i agree completely lol got a few things on my wish list and that is def one of them I might build my .338 ultra mag first though decisions decisions lol

I was also thinking those rings belong on an AR. The good thing for the OP is now you can do a few quick measurements and find out the shortest rings possible for this rig is.

Re: Cheap way to go

never even thought about measuring it thanks for the advice definitely putting it to use

Re: Cheap way to go

That's the height I have my scope. Works good for me. Nice set up by the way.

Re: Cheap way to go

Thanks, Weather permitting im gonna get out there and try it out today still need to bed the stock or just get one so im not expecting it to be super accurate out of the gate any ideas on if its better to bed the stock yourself or just buy one?

Re: Cheap way to go

Re: Cheap way to go

I know lol my jaw dropped to be honest im extremely pleased just wish the trigger adjusted lower definitely gonna b switching triggers x mark pro is not made for precision shooting gonna work up some hunting rounds tomorrow with 150g and 180 g nozzlers see how they do then get some smk's prolly 175 g and go from there try a couple different powders in all those as well see exactly what this gun likes cause it shot that with some cheap factory ammo thats like 10 bucks for 20 of them

Re: Cheap way to go

McGraw,
Looks good sir, I had the exact same setup. check it out HERE . i switched to a B&C stock though. I never got it to shoot better than .4-.5. However I hope you have better luck than I did with that scope. I put exactly 52 rounds down the tube of my SPS-V with that scope on it and an o-ring came loose or undone inside the scope tube. Could clearly see the oring when looking through the scope. Quite annoying especially after 52 rounds. Good luck with your build. Hope its going better than mine.

Re: Cheap way to go

thanks ive got prolly 100 rounds down range with it as of right now some with my .338 ultra mag seems to b holding up good but thanks
