Cheapest 7.62x51 rifle?

Hey guys, one of my buddys the other day was thinking, "hey lets get a mosin nagant and buy some of that cheap spam can 7.62x54r stuff and have a good time cause its all so cheap" but then after some research and some thinking... Whats a good cheap 7.62x51 rifle/carbine? Is there one? I was thinking that might be a better option for me because I already have all this mil surp german stuff in battle packs thats 7.62x51... then I wouldnt have to buy ammo and I could keep my calibers more basic...

So whats a good cheap old rifle or whats a good cheap new one just for blasting fun... thanks guys.

Oh and I would want it to be reliable and not something that is soo rare that I cant get parts for it.

find a used Stevens M200 in 308

Remington 700 SPS 308 20" can be had for pretty cheap brand new. Probably less that 500 used

Any of the Milsurps are gonna sell for more than a new bolt from Stevens...that would be your best bet. Or, Savage Axis...

All out cheapest would be something like a thompson center contender

.223 or .22lr is cheaper than surp .308

how would one get their sticky fingers on one of those ?? None on GunBroker !
