Wanted to get back into an AR platform and this is what I came up with. Still trying to find an A2 buffer assembly to install the PRS.
Armalite lower with Jewell trigger
Sabre Defence 24" heavy barrel upper 1-8 twist
Magpul MOE grip and PRS Gen II .308 stock
KAC URX II rail will replace the FF tube...
after I find a way to install it...

I want to comment on the Sabre upper. I was pretty impressed at the quality when I pulled it out of the box and inspected it.

I need some help choosing the optics platform for it. Not sure what way I want to go but would like to keep the price under 1000$. Thinking something ACOGish... Now some pics..

I've only heard good things about Sabre D... that will be a pretty slick upper once you get the KAC URX II rail on. Nice build. As for optics... Acog if you don't like to dial your dope or a nice variable (2.5x10) scope to squeeze out those sub moa groups... tough choice. Keep us updated

Leupold Mk IV 2.5-8 MRT no illumination. I think price is in the ballpark and you'll be able to take full advantage of the package.
