Is this a good option or is there something better you guys are installing on factory stocks? There are arent any stock ootions for the Savage 112 Magnum Target.

You can get a 24x24 sheet of kydex from amazon. Cut and bend with heat gun works great.

But that style is the one to have? I may have material I can make my own out of but I have never had a chassis gun or stock with a riser

I made mine and used heavy duty velcro to attach. It takes a little work to get it positioned just right but once it's there it doesn't move.

That's a Karsten cheek riser in the picture. I have a couple of them and like them a lot.

Check out Bradley risers. Velcro straps, rock solid and you don't have to carve up your stock.

Matthews Fabrication. He can do custom prints on the kydex if you’d like as well. It’s 100% worth drilling 2 holes through your stock for.
