Is there a chest rig that anyone can recommend to use in conjunction with a pack like the Eberlestock G4? Looking to hold 8-12 AR mags and have extra pouches to have easy access to normal patrol gear like maps, radio, or a set of binos?

Look at SOEs chest rigs. the micro up to the mookie war rig gives you options to have it pre configured or you can add your own pouches if you already have them. soetacticalgear.com

Check out BDS Tactical, I used their rigs in Afghanistan and loved them. You can order one of the stock rigs or have one customized for your needs. They have great customer service and try to get you what you need.
