Any machinists, gunsmiths or welder / fabricators have any good source for C clamps that are worth a shit?! Obviously I'd prefer american made ones and am willing to pay for it but I doubt that they are even being made here at this point.
Over the years I've found that "Bessey" clamps were the best. Most rugged, versatile, and robust. Not sure where they were made though. Just saying it how it is....

Heavy duty Jorgensen steel C clamp. 4" capacity and body of the clamp is about 10" long itself so it'll never twist, etc. I have a lot of other American made older clamps for sale as well.
