Cleaning muzzle brake

If it's really caked on I give it a soak in some Carb-Out, but I try to not neglect them for that long.

I have a short length of capped pipe that I pour it in, then hang the rifle upside down to soak the brake in it.

If I do run the 419 Hellfire Match I just make sure the bore is brushed and do minimal work. I used to sit there and try to get it spotless and realized it was f'ing stupid, waste of time and resources. Now I let it sit in a jar of odorless MS/Acetone, dry off and that's it.
And this is from someone who cleans after every shoot-I guess some would say the same about my approach to the brake.
