Soon its time to visit cabelas. I seldom have the chance to do so and Id like to purchase good stuff for cleaning and maintaining my rifles. Can you recommend products to clean out the barrel and the action........ plus a "lubrication" for a dry barrel before the first shot right after cleaning. Ive heard that it gives longer barrel live.

Everything I've seen at Cabelas has been the same ol shit you see at Walmart for 2x the price. Do some searching on here about cleaning solutions and lubricants and buy some from a vendor on here...

Very true... I think you will come out on top if you snag them offline. It is always fun to look around at Cabelas, but there are not many good deals there that I have seen. Do some cleaning research before you get too many supplies lol. Most people go overboard here IMO. Lubrication is very good though... especially on the lugs. I like grease on my bolt guns since it stays put well, but ymmv.
