I was at the range today and a guy came with a coastal 308 suppressor and put it on his hk 91 clone. This was the first 308 suppressor i have herd so i cannot compare it to any other can but what i can tell you is it sounded pretty darn good.
As you all know i shoot an msg90 clone so as i watched him shoot i noticed their was little recoil, now i can say i didnt hear a sonic crack but i also noticed he was cycling rounds they where not sub loads i can say that for sure, and i have talked to the guy before and i know he is not smart enough to change locking pieces so why their was no sonic crack is beyond me but i watched him touch off one magazine smiled and went into the gun shop interesting suppressor i bet the better cans like AAC make the 308 sound like a 45 suppressed... it was nice... but i have might sights set a little higher then coastal.
Any way i wanted to pass that info along to any one looking into the coastal suppressors, they are nice not going to lie i have shot the passport 22 can and its great and this ltr seems nice as well but with so many other companies out their I would do your homework before you decide on coastal
