Coating a Defiance Bolt??

I received a Defiance Rebel recently and am planning on the barreled action to be coated.
However, I was wondering about the bolt.
I wasn't sure if cerekoting both the action and bolt would be too much and the action would not be as smooth
I was wondering if maybe the bolt should be treated in another coating such as teflon, salt bath nitride, etc.

Any experiences or suggestions?

Why not W DLC?

IonBond is the company that does it.

It will have 3 to 6 microns of electroless Nickel which will be coated with 5 to 7 microns of Tungsten Diamond-like Carbon.
