Gunsmithing Converting Sako Extractor to M16 Type?

Hi all.

Is it possible to convert a Remington 700 bolt that currently has a Sako extractor to a M16 style extractor, such as that made by Badger?

If so, anyone know of good smiths that can do the work?

you've already got a huge cut out of your bolt face for the sako, I don't know that an additional cut would be wise even if there is not a location conflict.


At this point, you'd be better off with a one-piece PTG bolt that's already got the m16 extractor installed.
